A Glorious Early 19thC French Tôle Peinte Hexagonal Hall Lantern c.1810 sub-Furniture- Boxes & Luggage The well-preserved and mounted crimson

The well-preserved and mounted crimson rosella (Platycercus Elegans) perched on a naturalistic outcrop under a good quality late Victorian glass dome and raised on an ebonised plinth socle base with ruby red twist bordering survives in very good overall condition from middle of the twentieth century

The underside reveals some old chewing gum which we thought we’d better leave in situ

Having been over-painted sometime in the twentieth century in forest green

In un-restored form the boxes are clean and benefit from their slightly distressed look
